It’s a wrap! The first 2026 X Games finished up with good rides and smiling faces, and we are so pleased to have had our good turnout! Thank you all for coming, and we hope to see you in June for our next one. And huge thanks to all our volunteers, without whom none of this would be possible!

No time for picture taking yesterday so you’ll have to imagine the best crew ever for the Practice Day at the Games.

Audrey Farley, Lisa and Garth Reader, Holly Ourisman, Krissie Pardue, David Burling, Lindsay Lechner, Vanessa Waltz and others who pitched in to make stuff happen all day.

The scraping and fixing is done, now the fresh coat of paint is underway on the show jumps. And huge thanks to HIPICO Santa Fe for the loan of some jump poles for the weekend, we appreciate that collaboration more than I can say! Deirdre Monroe cut and prepped the replacement parts on the old wishing wells, Diego Baca fixed all the loose bits and installed the new parts, and Jeffray Ryding did the restaining.

Cross country is prepped with a bunch of new jumps, Tom Angle has been repairing and placing more and more of them out there, and Jeffray has wielded a wicked stain sprayer to give things a new look! Oh, and the mission wall, the beloved mission wall, is up on the top of the hill! 2026 season, here we come!

Are you filling out those entries? Thinking about how fabulous your dressage test will be this year? Dreaming of cruising the cross country like Boyd Martin? YES! And don't forget to invite your friends, relatives and barn mates to come see what's what at Saturday's open house (April 25) and Sunday's competition (April 26)!

Open house visitors are welcome to bring a horse and hack around, and if they decide they'd like to actually school XC we'll provide a release form and a coach for them out there! Give us a heads up though so we’re ready for you! Helmets and boots required for riders though, and a cross country vest if they're jumping in the open!

We’re scrubbing and prepping and painting to be ready for the new season of X Games, we hope you’ll join us! Don’t forget, Saturday, April 25 is both a schooling day and open house, and competition is Sunday!
