One Winner Crowned. Fifteen Films Advance to the Finals.

We are thrilled to share the latest results of the 2026 ILLUMINATE Oneness of Humanity Micro-Short Film Contest, and to introduce you to the 16 extraordinary films that will take the stage in Sedona this September.

We are especially honored to recognize Olivia Hansen, Founder and President of The Spiritual Life TV Channel, whose vision and generosity made this contest possible. Olivia conceived the idea for the Oneness of Humanity Micro-Shorts Contest as a way to inspire connection not through lecture or dogma, but through the universal language of storytelling, entertainment, and collective creativity. Over the contest’s first two years, Olivia’s vision of spreading Oneness came to life through nearly 1,400 films from more than 70 countries and over 180,000 viewers worldwide.

The 2026 ILLUMINATE Oneness of Humanity Micro-Short Film Contest invites storytellers and creators from around the world to craft a micro-film under 90 seconds that reveals our shared humanity.

We’re seeking cinematic “micro-doses” of goodness: moments of kindness, flashes of wonder, timeless truths, or surprising sparks of joy that remind us we are One Human Family.

2026 Theme: The Shiny New & Treasured Old

This year’s contest explores stories shaped by time, change, and continuity:

• Connections across generations
• The meeting of innovation and tradition
• The benefits each era brings to how we live, learn, create, heal, and love

Awards: $25,000 Total

Including a $10,000 Grand Prize, $5,000 Second Prize, $2,500 Third Prize, a $2,500 People’s Choice Award, and five $1,000 Honorable Mentions.

Finalists will premiere at the in-person ILLUMINATE Film Festival on October 2, 2026 in Santa Barbara, with additional visibility through the Festival’s global outreach and partners.
