The Coollab Concept-
A "coollab" is a cool collaboration between two or more artists that blends styles, cultures, and perspectives. The Coollab Project is an open mic and jam session where singers, poets, rappers, musicians, and visual artists of all different genres are invited to perform in an open mic style for the first half. For the second half, all of the performers names will be put into a hat and the audience will pick 2 at a time at random. Each pair will have 5 min. to come up with an original piece that combines both their styles. At the end of the night, all artists present are invited for an open jam session for anybody who wants to join. The Coollab Promotes collaboration across genres and ideas to promote creation of new sounds as well as respect and unity among people.
