We’re excited to welcome back Sandwich Moose Lodge 1016 as a returning Shake Up Shuffle Event Partner 🫎❤️

For over one hundred years, Sandwich Moose Lodge has existed in our community, bringing people together through events, charitable work, and a welcoming place to connect.

For the third year, they’re helping make race weekend possible, and are once again hosting our Pre Race Packet Pickup.

New in 2026 👀

We’re thrilled to announce an all new KIDS ZONE at the 2026 Shake Up Shuffle, presented by new Shake Up Shuffle Event Partner, Fox Valley Family YMCA.

Designed with families in mind, the Kids Zone will feature a variety of activities for children of all ages to enjoy on race day.

Thank you, Fox Valley Family YMCA, for helping us create new race day experiences, and for the many ways that you support children and families throughout our communities.

Nearly 900 participants are already registered. Will we see you there? 👟🍋

We’re three months out from the 2026 Shake Up Shuffle 👟🍋

So far, one runner has owned our 5K.

Stephen Hench has taken the title both years since the event began, making him the only 5K champion in Shake Up Shuffle history so far.

The question is…can anyone catch him in 2026? 👀

Behind the Bib Series 🧷

As we continue our Behind the Bib Series, we’re highlighting the stories that make the Shake Up Shuffle such a meaningful part of our community.

Today’s feature is Becky Cantrell, whose story reflects tradition, connection, and the joy of showing up year after year.

Q: Why do you run the Shake Up Shuffle?

A: “I grew up in Plano, so the Sandwich Fair has always been something I look forward to. My husband and I moved to Sandwich and while raising our girls it became a much bigger deal: family time, the end of summer/kick off to fall, and just a great time connecting with people you only seem to see once a year when walking around the fairgrounds with a shake-up in your hands.

When a friend of mine first told me about the Shuffle we thought it would be a fun way to help raise a little money. We had so much fun we decided to walk a second year and now plan to participate annually. We may not cross the finish line quickly, but we are proud of ourselves that we cross it!”

From lifelong fair traditions to new memories made each year, Becky’s story is a reminder of how the Shake Up Shuffle brings people together in ways that go far beyond race day.
