The goal of Zephyr Baptist Encampment is to provide an environment in its facilities and activities that encourages development in spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical areas.

We are excited for Student Camp Session 2 kicking off today!

We are closely watching the weather and rain that is forecast for our area. Please know that the safety of our campers is our highest priority.

Camp Zephyr is not located in a flood-prone area. Unlike camps situated along rivers, our property sits on a high bluff overlooking Lake Corpus Christi which is currently at 28% capacity. Because of this elevated position, we are not at risk for flooding.

That said, we do maintain an emergency action plan which includes protocols for severe weather and other potential emergencies. Our plan includes:

✅Real-time weather monitoring and alerts.
✅Coordination with local emergency services and authorities.
✅Clear communication protocols to keep parents and group leaders informed.

Please use caution and discernment while traveling to Camp Zephyr today! We will see you soon!
