This month, Pre-Stage is inviting drivers to display their fiberglass, carbon fiber, or other composite-bodied auto in the featured ‘sponsor area’, as we throw the spotlight on the lightweight - and often kinda weird - world of non-metal cars.

WHAT’S ELIGIBLE? All fiberglass, carbon fiber, and other composite-bodied cars: all makes, all models, all years.

Interested? Awesome. No RSVP required, just show up during load-in - between 7 and 8am - and park your car with the other composite autos in the area just forward of the Red Whale Coffee truck. Feel free to spread the word to your plastic fantastic amigos…

When: Saturday, September 19, 2026, 8-10am
Where: Civic Center Lagoon Park, San Rafael
What: Cars and coffee for people who don’t dig Cars + Coffees; enthusiast cars of all makes/models welcome. Pre-Stage is a monthly gathering for driving enthusiasts, with hyper-local coffee and pastries served via the Red Whale Coffee truck, set by the lagoon of the stunning Frank Lloyd Wright-penned masterpiece, The Marin County Civic Center.

Reminder: Pre-Stage has a strict no-suitcasing policy; no ‘for sale’ signs, no sales, no advertising, no displays, and no wrapped-vehicle advertisements are permitted. This is a gathering for driving enthusiasts, not a sales convention.

Pre-Stage® September is coming: Saturday, September 19, 2026; enthusiast cars of all makes/models welcome.

Roll into Marin Center Lagoon Park anytime you feel like it [between 8 and 10am], grab some caffeine and a bite from Red Whale Coffee truck, meet friends old and/or new, and then get to the real reason for the season: hitting the backroads for a bit of a jaunt in your autocar (download the post-Pre-Stage route at pre-stage.com/route). Reminder: Pre-Stage has a strict no-suitcasing policy; no ‘for sale’ signs, no sales, no advertising, no displays, and no wrapped-vehicle advertisements are permitted. This is a gathering for driving enthusiasts, not a sales convention.

WHAT’S ELIGIBLE? Porsche: all models, all years.

Interested? Awesome. No RSVP required, just show up during load-in - between 7 and 8am - and park your car with the other Porsches in the area just forward of the Red Whale Coffee truck. Feel free to spread the word to your P-Car amigos.
