CASA - Ceramic Arts Student Assoiciation - Texas State University Ceramic Arts Student Association Officers:

The Ceramic Arts Student Association (CASA) is a registered Texas State University student organization whose objective is to further the understanding and appreciation of the ceramic arts within the university and San Marcos communities. CASA supports community causes within the university and in the surrounding area by volunteering at local civic and art events, such as The Texas Clay Festival h

eld annually in Gruene and the Texas State Bobcat Build Community Volunteer Day. CASA holds monthly sales to raise money for student members to participate in workshops, exhibitions, and to attend the annual National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts conference.

TWO Applications Are Open!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Applications are due on October 4, 2021, 11:59pm Pacific Time (San Francisco) for the SPRING 2022 residency (JAN-JUN). We will be prioritizing applications that express specific needs for/experience with atmospheric firings as we are building a soda kiln in November 2021. Applications should specifically address how they will benefit from and focus on this new resource/opportunity.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The FALL 2022 residency is open to all ceramic explorations. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
