A 2-day hackathon where students from a variety of majors and members of the SLO community can collaborate to create an app/website/product to solve real civic-based issues with the help of our Community Heroes OUR MISSION: To challenge & provide a platform for designers, developers, and entrepreneurs to solve civic-based issues alongside community members.

1) To provide a unique learning experience for students to come together from different academic backgrounds to design, build, and pitch a product that aims to positively impact the community.

2) Provide support going forward after the hackathon to fully develop their product

3) Showcase student skills to our sponsors/potential employers
