Buccaneer Boot Camp – Recruits Wanted!

Think you have what it takes to sail with a pirate crew? Then report for duty at Buccaneer Boot Camp—a swashbuckling training ground for young scallywags in training! You will find the Boot Camp at this summer's Central Coast Renaissance Festival happening on July 18th and 19th at Laguna Lake Park in San Luis Obispo.

Located at the Buccaneer Stage, this high-seas crash course puts recruits through the paces with balloon sword drills and a lesson in proper pirate lingo ("Arrr," "avast," and "shiver me timbers" included free of charge!). Led by grizzled pirate veterans (who only bite when provoked), the Boot Camp is equal parts silly and seaworthy.

Sessions run multiple times daily—so grab your young buccaneer and report for duty. No experience necessary, just a hunger for adventure and a willingness to get a little silly.
