Central Coast Pride Events is a vibrant initiative managed by the GALA Pride & Diversity Center, powered by the dedication of over 100 volunteers. Since 1997, we have curated and hosted a diverse series of Pride events across San Luis Obispo County, celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and community pride. In 2024, we significantly expanded our reach by partnering with neighboring cities, making this year’s Pride season the most extensive and inclusive yet. Central Coast Pride now includes celebrations in San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Cambria, and Los Osos, ensuring that the spirit of Pride is felt throughout the entire region. Beyond the Pride season in June, we are committed to celebrating Pride year-round. We continuously bring a variety of events to our community, often collaborating with local organizations and resources to host joint events. This ensures that the message of inclusivity, support, and celebration extends beyond just one month, fostering a continuous culture of acceptance and love throughout San Luis Obispo County.
