Sheetal was first drawn to the menu — the color, the flavor, the way modern Indian food could feel joyful, abundant, and beautifully styled for a spring birthday celebration.

It began with a toast to celebrate Akanksha and Cole.

Then, slowly, the celebration found its rhythm — a haldi at home in Livermore, surrounded by family, friends, saffron draping, warm florals, and the kind of joy that can’t be staged.

Familiar flavors were served with a little wonder: chaat, hors d’oeuvres, vegan biryani, and mango mousse, all woven into a full-service wedding experience designed to feel intimate, thoughtful, and unforgettable.

Neha’s Bollywood birthday was conceived as an immersive celebration from the very first step onto the red carpet to the last swirl of live jalebi. Guests moved through an afternoon layered with champagne toasts, dancing, passed hors d’oeuvres, pani puri, live tandoor service, dream cake, and candlelit beauty in every direction.

Flowers, flickering candlelight, and chef-led moments gave the event a cinematic rhythm — glamorous, expressive, and deeply personal. Every room felt intentional. Every detail reflected the woman at the center of it all.

When the tandoor meets wine country.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Dante Robere, Randy’s 50th unfolded as a surprise celebration hosted by his lovely wife, Jyoti—an evening layered with live music, a glowing tandoor, fresh florals, and Livermore Valley reds.

Guests were welcomed with passing tandoori bites—seasonal vegetables, paneer tikka, malai methi chicken, mustard lamb chops, and cod fish pakora—before dinner gave way to fresh naan from the tandoor and a richly composed feast of Lamb Rogan Josh, Butter Chicken, Shahi Paneer, and Dal Makhani, all paired beautifully with Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon.

A milestone dressed in florals, fire, and the kind of hospitality that lingers long after the last pour.

What began as a vibrant garden party in Palo Alto slowly gave way to something more electric — a celebration layered in color, movement, and the unmistakable spirit of Holi.

Rainbow tones came alive through florals, linens, and chef-led live stations, creating a setting that felt equal parts editorial and joyfully unrestrained. Guests were welcomed with pani puri, signature sliders, and Delhi-style dahi bhalla, while chilled thandai and mango lassi offered a cooling pause between bursts of color. Margaritas from the bar kept the energy high, bright, and festive.

From there, the experience unfolded in true IDK fashion: live kabob stations serving paneer tikka and malai methi chicken, fresh pav bhaji cooked to order, a dholi and DJ keeping the celebration in motion, and misting fans cooling the air as colors flew across the garden.

And because we believe there are no endings, only grand finales, Chef Jai’s signature chole bhature, followed by live jalebi and rabri, brought the day to its happiest close.
