As we clean up, regroup and reflect on the 2026 San Jose Greek Festival we offer two very grateful thank yous: One is to our team of volunteers who work for months on end to plan, prepare, and make this festival run. Everything they bake, cut, grill, and wrap is by the graciousness of their hands. Thank you everyone for working with the entirety of your hearts and souls to make the San Jose Greek Festival happen year after year.

And second is to every single one of our attendees. Whether this was your very first festival or your fortieth, we are humbled by the love you have shown us by visiting and supporting our annual event. The San Jose Greek Festival begins today! From May 29th to May 31 come be Greek for a day at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Our schedule, program and recipe book are all on our website as is our festival map. Link is below and in our bio!

The San Jose Greek festival and Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church are wheelchair accessible.

You can bring a refillable water bottle but it is subject to inspection prior to entering the festival.

In two days, the San Jose Greek Festival opens at 3 PM. Starting at 11 AM on Friday May 29th Our new drive up pick up line opens to the public! You’ll be able to use it from 11 AM until 6 PM. From May 29 until May 31, you’ll be able to experience Greek authenticity In the South Bay. Plan your visit with your friends and family using the information in this post.

In one week, May 29th the San Jose Greek Festival opens its doors to the public at 3pm! Be among the first to try our newest menu item, Kontosouvli. A Cyrpiot style BBQ that you won’t find in any restaurant or Greek festival in the Bay Area. Wine marinated pork, this tender and flavorful dish goes great with pita and our meze dips. We love Melomakarona and you should too! The San Jose Greek Festival begins in 8 short days on May 29th! Our website has been updated to include our full menu and dance schedule, as well as our festival map so you can plan your visit! Melomakarona are traditionally made in Greek households during the Christmas holidays. Orange, clove, and cinnamon spiced cookies are baked until crunchy on the outside and crumbly on the inside. They’re then soaked in a warm honey syrup and topped with crushed walnuts. We hand make all of our desserts so that you can enjoy a truly authentic Greek experience.

We couldn’t put this festival together without the help of our hard working volunteers who show up week after week to prepare all the foods you’ll be able to try!

The San Jose Greek Festival is FREE between 11am and 3pm Sunday June 1st (always free for kids under 12 and seniors over 65), and then $5 after 3pm.

TODAY, Sunday June 1st is the last day to come be Greek for a day in San Jose until 2026! Grab your friends, and cool down with hand crafted cold Mastijito, or a frappe, get yourself a gyro or a saganaki, and snag some Loukoumades or a baklava sundae while you still can!
