We got a pleasant surprise at the office yesterday. Our Children’s Choir, led by our wonderful choir director, Mr. Brendan Cheng, visited us to spread some holiday cheers.

If you like what you hear, be sure to come see our Fall 2025 Quarter Concert this Saturday, 12/13, 11:00 a.m. at the Jefferson Middle School Gymnasium. Admission is FREE!

Introduce your 5- or 6-year-old child to the Saturday Conservatory of Music (SCM) Winter 2026 Quarter by registering online and enrolling in one of the following classes:

Recorder
Theory 1A
Piano
Percussion
Voice
Children’s Choir

This first class will serve as a bridge to our affordable and comprehensive music education program.

Have your child choose an instrument (or voice) to study at the Saturday Conservatory of Music (SCM) located at Jefferson Middle School (JMS) in San Gabriel, CA.

Register your child online for the SCM Winter 2026 Quarter and enroll in our three-class package: 1) Group Lesson Class, 2) Theory Class, and 3) Ensemble Class.

An additional instrument class and/or ensemble are also available. Welcome to our affordable and comprehensive music education program.

Any interested families who wish to sign their child(ren) up for our music program are encouraged to complete the 2025 to 2026 Online Registration form: (https://forms.gle/U13tddUjAzvymGa98) prior to arriving at Jefferson Middle School which will expedite the class placement and/or audition process. The registration desks will be set up near the main entrance between 8:00 a.m. to noon on both Saturday, 10/11 and 10/18.

This past Saturday's Fall 2025 Quarter Registration Event was a GREAT success. Thank you for spreading the word for us.

We want to thank those who supported our fundraiser by either donating a food/beverage item, making a purchase at the concession table or contributing by other means. All proceeds will go towards replacing our old keyboards with new ones, benefitting students in our piano classes.

On Saturday, September 27th, as part of the Fall 2025 Quarter Registration Event, Saturday Conservatory of Music (SCM) will be setting up a concession stand outside of the gym for purchasing related food items. The goal is to raise enough money to replace our old keyboards with 30 new ones, which our piano students will be using to receive their piano instruction.

To make this happen, we are soliciting generous individuals to donate the items listed in the available slots. Your in-kind donations will enable us to continue to provide affordable and comprehensive music instruction to the students living in our community. If you are able to contribute, we kindly ask you to drop your item(s) off to Louis or Thai at the concession stand outside of the gym by 8 a.m. Your generosity is deeply appreciated! Thank you for your support!

Our Fall 2025 Quarter Registration Event will take place on SATURDAY, 9/27/2025. We are seeking volunteers who are available to assist us with various tasks that day. See flyer for more details.
