Last month I played at my long-time friend Donovan’s white sand party and it was lots of fun. After our sets were over, a lot of people were asking us why we haven’t collaborated on any recent events. Afterward, Donovan and I began chatting and decided to do a Halloween party together. We wanted something more intimate so we chose one of our favorite upscale venues in the city: Press Club. We are calling the event "A Wicked Affair". We have chosen to go with a much more intimate space this year, so tickets are extremely limited. As many of you know I have 2 passions in life:
DJING & COOKING
I have been djing for over 27 years now and I still love it but I have always loved cooking as well. I’ve met many wonderful chefs over the years and have become good friends with several chefs including Hubert Keller. Over 10 years ago we made an agreement to teach each other our skills:
He taught me how to cook and I showed him how to DJ.
While I still DJ often, I’ve spent the past year focusing on my culinary skills by cooking full time for Josephine: josephine.com/cooks/will
Through Josephine, people order online and pick up the meals I prepare directly at my home in Oakland.
Playing on the Williams Sonoma culinary stage with my good friends Hubert Keller and Liam Mayclem is a huge honor! I get to experience two of my passions in life (music and food) in a wonderful setting!
