Hello community!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our mutual aid fundraiser by buying pins! We have donated the funds to the fundraiser for the family of Carlos Ivan Mendoza Hernandez, a loving father and partner who was shot by ICE in Patterson, CA. The funds will help his family with food, a safe home, medical bills, and legal fees. Donation link in the comments.

Muchos Art and Comics Expo stands in solidarity with our loved ones and communities who are impacted by state violence. Borders, carceral systems, and policing are not our ancestral ways! Zine culture has always been rooted in mutual aid and resistance. One of our core values is to honor the radical legacy of zine culture through our work. Stay tuned for more mutual aid fundraisers.

With love and solidarity, the Muchos Art and Comics Expo organizing team.

On Sunday we are so excited to be tabling at this year’s Pride in Panels! This will be our first time exhibiting at this amazing event and we couldn’t be more stoked!

“The biennial Pride in Panels: SF Q***r Comics Festival is the premiere showcase of LGBTQIA+ comics creators from the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. The 2026 festival will feature over 125 artists exhibiting their work, as well as panel discussions, spotlight interviews with special guests and hands-on workshops.”

We are especially looking forward to connecting with folks at the fest this year. Definitely drop by the table when you attend this awesome show.

We’re kicking off a big weekend with one of our favorite events from last year!

“Each year, Lovers Lane transforms the heart of the Mission into a living celebration of art, culture, and connection. The event features children’s activities and family resources, artwork and local painters, performances by youth and neighborhood artists, DJs spinning oldies on every corner, lowriders on display, authentic food and drinks, and much more.”

Like last year, we will be providing a zine making station for attendees to get creative during the festivities. We had a lot of fun seeing people’s crafted zines last year and we are so exciteed to see what people make this time.
