San Francisco Old Car Picnic The SF Old Car Picnic is a City tradition started in 1988, held in Historic Speedway Meadow, GGP Bring a picnic lunch or BBQ! Bring your camera! No ins and outs.

Since 1988, the San Francisco Old Car Picnic has invited you to bring your classic vehicle (pre-1997) to Golden Gate Park for a fun event to benefit programs that serve the Developmentally Disabled. Admission as follows: $40 cars/trucks, $20 motorcycles, $10 bicycles, FREE for spectators! Sorry, no vehicles larger than 3/4 ton pickups. No vendors or amplified music allowed. The SFPD will issue citations as necessary.

Apparently there are rumors going around that Historic Speedway Meadow will be too wet for cars due to the recent rain and we’ll need to move the event or cancel. None of this is true!
