Presenting a new compilation of historical footage of the North Beach area and the northeast corner of San Francisco, including streets, parks, fleshpots, restaurants and people, 1930s-1970s. Built on the work of the 17-year LOST LANDSCAPES film series, this program includes home movies, outtakes from travelogues, newsreels and industrial films, combining cinematic ephemera into an experience that makes the familiar strange and the strange familiar. Made by Rick Prelinger, approx. 60 min., HD video scanned from original film.
