Eclectic Box SF Eclectic Box is focused on bringing stories to the stage that you won't find anywhere else. A 70-seat Theatre in the heart of The Mission.

Our goal is to showcase new sides of theater and introduce as many people as possible to the magic of live performances. Whether it's a reimagining of a classic movie, improv and sketch comedy, or original works you've got to see to believe, Eclectic Box is ready to present all of it. Live theater is a staple in San Francisco and we want to not only keep it going but bring it to another level. We're here to be the new home to the dreamers of dreams, an inclusive space for creativity, the wild artistic pulse that has drawn so many bright lights to our technicolor city. Eclectic Box is continuing the San Francisco tradition of giving a place for the off-beat among us to see visions come to life. Stop by and see what we're all about.

Halloween is approaching and we have plenty of ghosts, ghouls and attractions for you! Awesome Theatre opens the month with their new show The Crypt-O Keepers, then Drunk Theatre • The Wildest Improv Comedy Show and Dani Lancaster-Spinks are teaming up again for their Nightmare on Valencia Street show and closing out the month is Dreams On The Rocks Productions with Arkham Asylum: Vaudeville. This four day celebration brings rare, newly restored, and archival films back to the big screen, spanning decades, countries, and genres. Each program pairs a feature with a curated short, creating fourteen chances to catch cinematic gems you won’t find on any streaming platform. A perfect neighborhood treat for film lovers and anyone who enjoys discovering something unexpected.

Welp! August is coming to an end. Let's see what's happening at The Box for September! Kicking the month off we have Magician and Mentalist David Gerard with his mind games, then we a little stroll down the road to self destruction and recovery with the dark comedy The White Chip. Mid-month, Mulder and Scully return with The X-Files: The Parody is Out There. Let's not forget the gang from Drunk Theatre on the 1st and 3rd Saturday.
