Sunday Streets SF is back for another season this year!

A huge thank you to our private donors who launched the Match Campaign in March and April, as well as our partners at San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency for continuing to support this awesome program that brings together visitors and residents in the beautiful streets of San Francisco.

Due to budget cuts, we’re unable to offer a full season this year. However, we’re committed to doing our very best by partnering with community-based organizations, local businesses, and community members to continue hosting and supporting family-friendly open streets events in underserved neighborhoods throughout the city.

"Community voices need to be heard before you take away joy and connection for something that really means a lot to us,” said Lea Sabado, the co-owner of Excelsior Coffee at 4495 Mission St., who started collaborating with Sunday Streets in 2019.

The 18-year-old neighborhood street festival is at threat of being cancelled. Organizers are working to raise $50,000 by the end of March.
