San Francisco circus history runs deep. 🎪❤️
On Tuesday, October 13, Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture presents CIRCUS BY THE BAY, a special evening celebrating the uniquely San Francisco story of the new American circus and the artists who helped shape it.
We’re especially proud to see our own Dear San Francisco co-artistic directors Gypsy Snider and Shana Carroll joining the conversation, alongside Jeff Raz and Tandy Beal, all veterans of the legendary Pickle Family Circus and New Pickle Circus.
And there’s even more Club Fugazi in the house: Dear San Francisco’s Chloe Somers Walier joins an incredible lineup of live performers.
Expect stories, rare archival photos and video, live performance, and a look back at a creative movement born right here in the Bay Area.

spectrum.transbenefit takes over Club Fugazi for TWO fabulous nights! Here’s just a taste of the incredible lineup hitting the stage. 👀

Join us September 1 + 2 for an evening of q***r variety performances benefiting trans and nonbinary humans. Aerialists, burlesque performers, drag artists, dancers and more take over the historic Club Fugazi stage!
