“A Culinary Uprising: The Story of Bloodroot” is also heading to San Francisco TOMORROW to kick off the SF Q***r Film Fest’s NEW Q***r Screen: Beyond the Festival Program as their inaugural film!

(Fun fact: you could watch our doc at the Santa Cruz Film Festival, drive 1.5 hours to see the film again, and still have time to stop for a late lunch/early dinner in between!)

SFQFF champions out-of-the-box thinkers and projects. Since the festival’s inception, it has remained steadfast in its commitment to merit-based selection, focusing on the quality and vision of each project rather than the names attached to it. By breaking away from traditional constraints, it provides an alternative platform where diverse, authentic, and groundbreaking stories can thrive.
