As many of you may have heard, we will be retiring from hosting the Great Gatsby Gala. It has been an absolute pleasure organizing this competition for the past seven (7) years. We could not have partied in true 20s style without you, and we really appreciate the support that you have given us.
This has been a very difficult decision for us because we have been so involved and we have been so 20s together for such a long time. Many of you have been with us from the beginning, and we want to thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. We appreciate that you have become family to us and celebrated with us all these years.
We would like to thank all our staff and the crew that have been behind the scenes steering the competition over the years. They have been awesome co-captains of this ship and a valued support in ensuring we produce a world-class, fun and exciting competition year on year. We would also like to thank all our judges for being ever so meticulous and fair in their duties. We would like to thank all our friends and family, who have supported our efforts and vision in keeping this competition over the years. To all the competitors, you have been true troopers of the 20s. You have been so gracious and fierce competitors and have made hosting this competition a true joy for us.
Thank you to all the dancers who were brave enough to dance true Peabody and even participated in the Peabody World Championships. The creativity and fun that you shared with us year after year filled our hearts with so much joy. This is just the beginning of the Peabody era and we are so honored that you have joined us on that journey.
The Great Gatsby Gala is not going away. There will be a new organizer of the competition and we are excited about the amazing things that will be coming. We are confident the true nature of Great Gatsby Gala will remain and reach even greater heights in the future. You will soon know who the new organizer will be!
Until then, this is not goodbye…until we party again, because as we always say, “A little party never killed nobody” 🥳
Love,
Louis & Kasia
