We ❤️ our mini community so much and this story shows why. Due to some pretty incredible circumstances, these two very similar but very different in size dollhouses were able to be reunited. Years ago, members of the San Diego Miniature Crafters club (the same group that hosts and organizes our show) put together this 1:48 scale kit from Debbie Young which is modeled after a farmhouse in Visalia, California. Flash forward to 2026. Two new enthusiasts of our show head down to San Diego with a 1:12 scale dollhouse in the back of their van so that another member of the same club can renovate and refurbish it back to life. After sharing stories and videos at their club meetings and through social media, the dots were connected. It was the same dollhouse, The Visalian! Through this shared love of miniatures and educating others about the world of miniatures, a dollhouse from the 1980s that had been in a barn and an incredibly rare quarter scale version of the same historic home are now back together! Thank you for sharing this story and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we did!

Thank you to all of those that attended our show this past weekend, thank you to our vendors for traveling from near and far and finally thank you to the amazing volunteers from the San Diego Miniature Crafters, whose countless hours of work and organizing made this show come together. Our cheeks are still sore from smiling and it was truly a magical weekend. In very big news, mark your calendars because we are already underway for our 52nd annual show! February 6th & 7th, 2027!!
