This morning, members of our San Diego Convention Center team volunteered at the annual Operation Clean Sweep event, helping remove litter & beautify areas along the San Diego Bay.

We were grateful to be joined by our business partners at Smart City Networks and ON Site, while Sodexo Live! generously donated hundreds of burritos to fuel cleanup teams across the bay.

Thank you to the San Diego Working Waterfront for organizing this effort and to all the volunteers who dedicated their time to caring for our waterfront 💙🌊

During last year's Comic-Con, Todd McFarlane kicked off an unexpected tradition by sketching on one of our back-of-house elevators. Soon after, Jim Lee & additional artists added their own artwork to the elevator walls.

This year, San Diego artist Tony Washington added his sketch to a second service elevator in the building. And to close the event, Todd McFarlane added another, Venom! Comic-Con is only here for one week each year, but its creative spirit lives on.
