San Diego Made is an artist collective organization that aims to increase awareness of the local arts within the San Diego community and promote the Shop Local. Our artists and craftsman become members to increase the exposure of their work, promote their small businesses, and work together toward the common goal of reaching more people through their art. We do this through promoting our website,

hosting art walks, craft events and open studio nights, and sharing news on local artists and art happenings through our blog and PR outreach.

We had an awesome morning at with working with the young entrepreneurs who will be setting up at the Spring Market in La Mesa Village Saturday, May 2!

A few of our amazing vendors volunteered their time to set up and present to the students on running and marketing their small business at creative events and answer any questions they have leading up to their big debut.

Participating vendors included:

We’ll have over 15 Helix Charter High students vending in the young entrepreneurs section and we hope you’ll stop by their booths at the event May 2 to show your support. We are so proud of them, thankful to our mentoring vendors, and grateful for our partnership with for making this happen.

New Factory Tenant Welcome:
The San Diego Made Factory is happy to have a new member in our community. Hunter is a multidisciplinary artist and art educator born and raised in Ocean Beach. His primary art forms are collage, poetry, painting, zines, and murals. His work focuses on finding magic in the mundane and is informed by metaphysical realms, including divination, tarot, mythology, and dreams. Currently, he is working as a Lead Artist with Barrio Artists Partnership, studying muralism with Mario Torero.

Happy birthday to this amazing little ray of sunshine, our rock, our co-founder, Sarah!

Sarah has the best heart and kindest soul (if you’ve met her, you know this!) but she’s also grown into an amazing badass boss lady who keeps the Factory running and our team supported.

She’s amazing mama, friend, wife, co worker and all around top notch person who deserves all the love and celebration, every day, but especially today!

NEW TENANT WELCOME!!
studio is a space where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel safe to express emotion and creativity. As a Navy veteran and Caribbean creative, I know what it means to carry pressure, to constantly move, to survive. Crochet and art became my medicine, a way to ground, reflect, and reclaim parts of myself I’d put aside.Now, I use those tools to help others. My why is to guide people back to themselves through fiber, breath, and storytelling. I believe that in every stitch, there is restoration. In every moment of stillness, there is transformation. CraftedByT is my way of offering peace, clarity, and connection in a world that moves too fast.

Tiara is the newest member of The San Diego Made Factory. Check out her list of upcoming workshops hosted here on specific Sundays throughout August.

Join us for a special community gathering as we host an exclusive screening of One Handed Fighter — a short documentary featuring Geoff Real, a one-handed jiu jitsu athlete, coach, and truly inspiring force in the combat sports world.

Created by Sundoc Studios, One Handed Fighter follows Geoff’s journey to becoming the coach and mentor he never had — a story of grit, resilience, and leadership both on and off the mat.
