The United States Police & Fire Championships are coming to Irvine, California, June 12–19, 2027, for a milestone celebration unlike any other. Next year marks the 60th anniversary of the USPFC, honoring six decades of Commitment, Camaraderie, and Competition among public safety athletes from across the country.

For this special anniversary year, athletes will compete at outstanding venues throughout Irvine and the surrounding area, including several of the region’s premier sports facilities. Whether you’ve been part of the USPFC for decades or 2027 will be your first Games, mark your calendar and join us as we celebrate 60 years of unforgettable competition.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were fleeing.

We remember the 343 firefighters, 37 Port Authority police officers, 23 NYPD officers, 8 emergency medical personnel, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to service will never be forgotten.

We remember. We honor. We carry their legacy forward.

MIXED DIVISION - 3 men and 3 women required. All sworn personnel, no size limit to the agency.

WOMEN DIVISION - All sworn personnel, no size limit to the agency.

SENIOR DIVISION - The total age of the team members must be at least 270 years. No size limit to the agency.

500 DIVISION - All sworn personnel from the same agency who do not exceed 500 personnel. No combination teams allowed in this category.

250 DIVISION - All sworn personnel from the same agency who do not exceed 250 personnel. No combination teams allowed in this category.

STATION/DIVISION - Subdivision of larger agencies. Can be comprised of full-time sworn and non-sworn personnel from the same Station or Division.

SUPPORT SERVICES – A team can consist of all non-sworn or a combination of sworn and non-sworn. This category will also include Reserve Officers, Volunteer Firefighters, or any team approved by CPAF.
