US Sand Sculpting Challenge and Dimensional Art Expo

Sand Sculpting Challenge presented by the Port of San Diego is an invitational competition between Master Sand Sculptors from around the world. We also feature a head-to-head battle between several local teams and previous participants of the U.S. Open Championships in Imperial Beach. Our 3D Dimensional Art Exposition features exhibits by leading artists who work in metal, glass, resin, wood, clay, leather, fabric, gemstones and more. The Dimensional Art Exposition is a Juried show among artists of virtually all media, and awards are presented in varied categories. This event is set on the stunning San Diego Bay over Labor Day Weekend. It features entertainment for the whole family, including live music, fun food trucks and a host of beverages & desserts, and a beer garden with a deluxe VIP Area. For kids, there will are activities and games all day including a sandbox, mini-bungee and Zorb balls
