Fare thee well. Thank you for 34 wonderful years of literary adventures, and for entrusting us with your dreams of publication. Along with all the many agents, editors, and authors we have hosted over the years, we're proud to have been your guide in navigating the craft and business of writing.

We're also proud to have been instrumental in launching the literary careers of numerous authors including Margaret Dilloway, Karen Keskinen, Shannon Messenger, Richard Lister, and Neal Griffin. Read all the many inspirational stories on the Writers' Conference blog.

Just as all good literary works must come to an end, so must we. The San Diego State Writers' Conference bids you farewell, and wishes you every success in your writing endeavors. Use your conference memories, epiphanies, and connections as fuel to maintain your momentum in pursuing your goals.

SDSU World Campus would like to acknowledge and thank Erin Quinn and Diane Dunaway for their many years of service, commitment, energy, and dedication to the conference. Without them, it would not have been possible.

As New York Times and USA Today best-selling author (and SDSU Writers' Conference success story) Shannon Messenger noted, “I firmly believe that the only difference between a published author and an aspiring writer is time and effort.”
