This past Saturday, we completed our final Spring 2026 cohort for our "Workforce Development Initiative". For the past six weeks,12 amazing students worked hard, each producing 3 different video projects about community, how to access public resources and the people who make San Diego. WDI, now celebrating 4+ years) is a unique program for emerging filmmakers ages 18-26 which includes a paid six week training and a paid internship with the San Diego Public Library. It's made possible by Library Foundation SD and The Prebys Foundation.

Our Summer youth filmmaking camps are just getting started. We've got camps all Summer for ages 6-17 (until mid August). 5-day camps for youth and teens where they make their own movies; and learn about pre-production, production and post-production.
