We had fun at this event & love their toys. 🩷Get • When we say we love our community, we truly mean it. 🥹🐾

The pet community, the ZippyPaws community… you all showed UP for our anniversary event in the best way possible. From familiar faces to new friends, every wag, smile, and moment made this celebration so special.

We seriously cannot thank you enough for celebrating 15 years with us and making this event one to remember.

Get • We really need some help here everyone!

These babies still don’t have enough fosters and this is a huge undertaking for the rescue to take so many dogs at once.

We are only half way there… we received several applications but when we contacted potential fosters we never heard back from them.

In order to get this going we need confirmed fosters to be there when they arrive as we do not have a facility to take them to.

Please help us by sharing our post and talking to potential fosters.

Location: San Diego, Orange County, up to Temecula.

We really need help to help them!!!!

🗓️ 🎉 Save the Date! Join us Tuesday, May 5, 2026 5pm-8pm at Landini’s Pizzeria in Little Italy for Doggies on the Deck Cinco de Doggo presented by Pika benefiting . 🐶💚🤍♥️🎉

The Barking Lot is a volunteer-run rescue dedicated to saving the lives of forgotten, abandoned, or otherwise perpetrated dogs and ensuring they have their humans forever. In November 2016, they started a partnership with Soi Dog Foundation based in Thailand. They’ve rescued and flown in one group of dogs per month since, all survivors of the illegal dog meat trade.

Join us at Landini’s Pizzeria, in collaboration with our sister event Fido’s Festa, in Little Italy for Doggies on the Deck Doggies Date Night 🐶🌹🍕💘 presented by Coffee the Chihuahua. We’ll be helping this cutie raise funds for her chosen 501c3 organization, SNAP. They provide spay/neuter services for financially-challenged pet owners in San Diego County.
