O'so Sucia Events is a co-creation by Nelson Castillo and Dangilo Gogo. You may have seen them both dancing on the boxes at LGBTQ+ and bear events around the US. Both located in sunny San Diego, they decided to throw their own event highlighting Latin performers and their admirers. O'so Sucia Events can be found currently at The Hole in San Diego. Dear O'so Sucia Events community,

We want to thank all of you for making O'so Sucia a success since our first event in 2023. We are truly grateful for your enthusiasm for and support of our events.

Many of you have reached out to us about changes at The Hole, and we want to confirm we are still scheduled to bring you the Slutter Camp | Winter Haus event on January 31st at that space.

We have regularly produced events at The Hole over the past two years and scheduled the January 31 event with the venue several months ago. We were notified at the end of 2025 the venue was planning on a re-brand, but we thought this was not happening until after we held Slutter Camp | Winter Haus. We were surprised when the venue management began making brand changes this week.

We strongly believe in O'so Sucia Events. Nights like “Slutter Camp”, “Dirty Bear” and “After Dark” were made with our guests’ experiences in mind. It’s never been about the venue regardless of name, location or status. O'so Sucia's main focus has always been about creating events with unique curated music, dance and social experiences produced by and for LGBTQ+ People of Color and allies. We understand the need for relationships with the community and will continue to partner and provide space at our parties with like-minded small business vendors, LGBTQ+ community service providers and nonprofit organizations.

While we are uncertain of our event schedule after January 31, trust us to work hard to continue and make our events as fun, provocative and welcoming no matter where we are.

Please join us for Slutter Camp | Winter Haus at 9pm on Saturday, January 31 at 2820 Lytton St, San Diego, CA 92110 regardless of what the name on the building says. We look forward to bringing you more of the O'so Sucia events you know and love in 2026 at a variety of different venues. Be sure to follow us on Bluesky or Facebook to stay updated.
