The time has come. This Saturday, August 9th, 2025, the Dragon’s Den Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K will bring the heat, the hills, and the ultimate test of endurance to San Antonio.

Whether you’re already registered or still waiting to commit, don’t miss your chance to be part of one of the most talked-about running events in Texas. The course is tough, the weather is intense, and the atmosphere is electric—just the way it should be.

Schedule:

Half Marathon: 6:30 AM
10K: 6:45 AM
5K: 7:00 AM
Little Dragon Dash: ~9:00–9:30 AM
Post-race food begins at 8:00 AM
Half Marathon participants must complete their first loop in under 2 hours to proceed to loop two.

5K: Scenic hills and 4 water stops
10K: One loop of the Dragon’s Den course with 8 water stops
Half Marathon: Two loops, varied terrain, 14 aid stations

HEAT WARNING – SAFETY MEASURES IN PLACE
Saturday’s forecast: 103 degrees

We’re fully prepared:

14+ water stops with ice-cold water and Gatorade
Chilled towels at all aid stations and the finish line
On-site medical support from Arch Angel EMS
Please begin hydrating at least 72 hours in advance, and include electrolytes in your routine.


RUNNING GROUPS & SUPPORTERS WELCOME
Bring your tent, chairs, and team spirit. There will be plenty of space for groups to set up near the finish line. Stay cool, hang out, and enjoy the celebration.

Dragon finishers!!! We are so excited for you to be able to celebrate your accomplishment with our finishers medal for the 2023 Dragons Den. We have great news!! Our medals are finally in our hands and we will be sending some details tomorrow on how you can collect your finishers medals starting Wednesday August 15 to the 21st. We are so excited for Fleet Feet to help us host the packet pick up at their store for our runners to have more time to pick up their packets. Please visit them and get everything you will need for race day. All questions about the race can be emailed to the race director or can be answered by our FAQ page online. Lastly if you still have a question please do not hesitate to call or text our business number 210-454-7000

Race Registration is still open in Person but will sell out when we reach 400 runners.

All runners that sign up on wednesday to friday if registrations are still available will have to pick up at Race day packet pick up.
