Thank you to everyone who made Cupid After Hours such a great night 💓

Huge thank you to those who helped with setup and breakdown, our DJs (Ryan and Kristen) for keeping the energy going all night, and most importantly every single person who came out to dance, connect, and support the event.

It was amazing seeing dancers from Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and surrounding areas join the Austin community to share the floor together.

We truly appreciate all of you and hope you had as much fun as we did.

Good Morning Everyone!

Thank you all for your feedback for Swing Crush 2026

Every comment, every survey response, every DM. We read it all. Swing Crush isn’t just an event we produce… it’s something we build with the community. Here’s what we’re implementing for 2027 based on your 2026 feedback:

Parking Instructions
We’ll be sending clearer pre-event communication via email, social media posts, and on-site signage so there’s zero guesswork when you arrive.

Latin Social Side Ballroom
We removed this from the schedule and we know some of you were looking forward to it. In 2027, this room will either be properly programmed and staffed… or we won’t promise it.

Late Night Lighting
You want dimmer, vibier, late nights? Done. We’re adjusting lighting design so it actually feels like 1AM.

More Saturday & Sunday Workshops
We’re expanding the weekend schedule to add more opportunities to train and grow (especially for those who do not compete).

Masquerade Experience
The next Masquerade… we’re doing it right. Think immersive elements. Interactive moments. Themed activities. 👀

Music Variety
We’re widening the DJ roster to bring in more out-of-state flavor to diversify the sound. Swing Crush should feel well rounded — not only regional.

Room Temperature
We addressed this directly with the hotel after the event. They recently installed a new chiller for their AC system, and it was unintentionally turned off during part of the weekend — which caused the temperature issues. The problem was identified and corrected late Saturday, which is why it felt noticeably cooler Saturday night and Sunday.

This has been resolved and will not be an issue at Swing Crush 2027.

Swing Crush 2027 will not be a repeat.

It will be an evolution.
