The "Original" Dog House building competition. Join us for our 10th Annual Barkitecture San Antonio. Saturday, May, 2, 2026 at King of Padel on 314 Nolan St.

City-wide Student Dog House competition to build the BEST Dog House in town. All entries will be sold to the public in a silent auction.

Vendors, Classic Cars, food and lots of unique "one of a kind" Dog houses... all for a cause. Guest appearance from San Antonio Missions Baseball mascot, Ballapeno.

Bring your Padels, and stay tuned to MORE news to come. 🐾

Come meet these sweet pups from Doodle Dandy Rescue next Saturday, May 10th at our 9th annual Barkitecture San Antonio.

A wonder day will be had at our 9th annual Barkitecture San Antonio next Saturday, May 10th at Lockwood Park in the historic Dignowity Hills neighborhood. Come support Students city-wide as they compete for BEST built dog house in town. All dog house entries will be sold to the public in a Silent Auction, with partial proceeds going to Doodle Dandy Rescue. Tons of fun for the whole family.

Fantasyland San Antonio come join us to support EVERYTHING we're doing at Barkitecture San Antonio. Lots of news going on daily... up to our 9th Annual "ORIGINAL" Dog House Competition. 🐾

In honor of our Doodle Jack, we are excited to announce Doodle Dandy Rescue as one of our Beneficiaries to Barkitecture San Antonio. Partial proceeds of the Silent Auction will benefit this amazing non-profit. 🐾

Doodle Dandy Rescue is a 501(c)3 rescue dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming Doodles. 💓

That's right‼️ You can bid on a one-of-a-kind dog house built for Barkitecture San Antonio by students city-wide, and partial proceeds will benefit multiple dog rescue/adoption non-profits. 🐾

This 9th annual "ORIGINAL" Dog House competition is not only a city-wide first of its kind in San Antonio, but a Nationwide one-of-a-kind event too. Come join in the fun for a cause, while supporting Students from across San Antonio as we give back to our community.

We have a full day of activities planned for the day, and just added Yoga‼️ With or without your pup... Yoga and Mindfulness with Vanessa will be offering one hour at 10am. (Donation based.) Dog House judging begins at 11am, with award ceremony to follow. Plenty of great eats from our food trucks and tons of shopping with over 30 vendors. Tons of fun for the whole family.

REMEMBER, all dog house entries will be sold to the public, with proceeds going to multiple dog rescue non-profits. 🐾

ADOPTABLE pups will be on site looking for families who want to add a new member to their home. (Applications being accepted.) 🐾

Barkitecture San Antonio is all about supporting small businesses, helping our dog community and planting seeds of service to our young adults.
