Have you ever wanted to help shape the future of Anime San Angelo or San Angelo Comic Con? Now's your chance!
We're officially launching our Mascot Design Contest and inviting artists to create an original character (OC) that could become the official mascot of one of our conventions.
Anime San Angelo
Your mascot should fit an anime, manga, or Japanese pop culture theme. We'd love to see designs inspired by our red and black color scheme.
San Angelo Comic Con
Think superheroes, comics, sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, or classic nerd culture. We'd love to see designs using our white, blue, and black color scheme.
🖌️ Contest Guidelines
• Original characters only (no copyrighted characters or existing IPs).
• No AI-generated artwork.
• Include your mascot's name.
• Write a short backstory.
• Tell us why they'd make the perfect convention mascot.
📅 Anime San Angelo submissions will remain open until mid-December. After submissions close, our convention team will review the entries, select finalists, and then the community will vote to choose the official mascot. The winner will be announced at next year's convention.
Complete contest rules, submission instructions, and prize details will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
Most importantly, have fun! This is meant to be a friendly competition that celebrates the incredible creativity in our community. If you've ever wanted to contribute to our conventions, this is a great opportunity to get involved. The winning artist will become part of our convention's history and have the chance to work with the San Angelo Comic Con Team on future creative projects.
