Today, our hearts are heavy as we remember one of our own — Kiser Davidson a true talent and beloved member of the Southwest Virginia music community.

Kiser was the sound of home — the voice that carried Appalachian soul, the rhythm that brought us together, and the spirit that reminded us why we celebrate music in the first place.

From late-night jam sessions to stages, Kiser shared not just songs, but stories, laughter, and love. SaltFest was proud to have him as part of our community.

We send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his grace. Rest easy, Kiser Your melody will never fade. 🎸

Looks like perfect weather is in store for us on Saturday... BUT Saturday night, be prepared for it to get a little chilly. Pack your chairs, hoodies, blankets, fuzzy socks, and anything that will keep you toasty because you won't want to miss The Great Big Hug from 8-10 PM.
