It takes over 1,200 volunteers to make the Utah Arts Festival happen. Want to be one of them?

Volunteer shifts are officially open! Whether you want to help build the Festival, pour drinks, park bikes, host artists, or help tear down- there's a spot for you. Grab some friends, make new ones, and be part of the team that brings this whole thing to life.

This is how we're kicking off our 50th anniversary - with a group that defined an era and never stopped evolving. Thursday night now belongs to hip-hop royalty, Digable Planets!

Digable Planets burst onto the scene in 1993 with their Grammy-winning "Rebirth Of Slick (Cool Like Dat)" and pioneered a style of jazz-informed hip-hop that still sounds fresh today. More than 30 years later, their music still shines and their live show is legendary.

Headlining Thursday, June 18 @ 9:30pm on the Festival Stage

General admission gets you in. You'll see the headliners, explore 170+ artist booths, catch 100+ performances, and experience everything the Festival offers.

The Utah Arts Festival returns June 18–21, 2026, and we're going ALL OUT to celebrate fifty years of art, music, community, and magic.

Here's who's joining us to celebrate 50:

🎤 Thursday, June 18: Digable Planets
Grammy-winning pioneers of jazz-informed hip-hop. Bringing three decades of iconic sound and legendary live performances.

🎤 Friday, June 19: Yola
Six-time Grammy nominee blending progressive R&B with soul. One of the most innovative artists in music today.

🎤 Saturday, June 20: Shakey Graves
Austin's genre-defying force mixing Americana, folk, and rock into unforgettable live performances.

🎤 Sunday, June 21: Rubblebucket
Pop, funk, dance, and psychedelia from Bonnaroo to Glastonbury. The perfect way to close out 50 years.

❤️ PLUS: BANDALOOP returns!
The legendary vertical dance company performs daily Thursday-Saturday on the Salt Lake City Main Library's glass wall.
