We honor the life and legacy of Walter Schwemmer, a pillar of Christkindlmarkt SLC.

From the very first year and every year after, Walter, alongside his beloved wife Silvia, showed unwavering support for Christkindlmarkt SLC. His dedication helped shape the warmth, tradition, and community spirit that defines the market today.

Last May, the Christkindlmarkt organizing committee honored Walter and Silvia with the St. Martin’s Award, recognizing those who truly embody “putting the KIND in ChristKINDlmarkt.”

Walter will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness and commitment to community will live on through Christkindlmarkt for years to come. 🤍🎄

Day 1 at Christkindlmarkt was pure magic ✨
Thank you to everyone who came out, supported local vendors, enjoyed the food, and soaked up all the holiday vibes.

We’re back for Day 2 opening at 11 a.m.!
Come shop, eat, see the performers, grab a lantern, and be part of the St. Martin’s Project supporting The Other Side Village. 💛

Please only park in the designated lots and follow the direction of the police officers on-site. They’ll guide you exactly where to go so everything flows smoothly for everyone. 🤍

We are thrilled to welcome you Dec 3–6 from 11 AM–8 PM at This Is the Place Heritage Park.

Thank you for supporting local vendors, artisans, performers, and all the volunteers who make this market possible.

A quick reminder: There is one entrance into the park this year, and police officers will guide you to the correct parking lot upon arrival. Please follow their directions to help keep traffic moving.
