The Kids Activity Yard at this year’s 9th and 9th Festival is a hub of creativity and fun! Located at the NE corner of Lincoln Street and 900 S, young makers can get their hands dirty with activities brought to you by our local grade school, Emerson Elementary, along with the Sammy Center and the Utah Pyramid Model.

The Emerson PTA is a volunteer-run and donor-supported group that seeks to build community at Emerson and improve the learning experience for our children. https://emerson.slcschools.org/parent-teacher-association-ptsa

The mission of the Sammy Center is to provide inclusive, relationship-based care for young children and their families, with a focus on connection, regulation, and belonging. They exist to ensure that all children, particularly those with diverse developmental, emotional, and sensory needs, have access to environments where they feel safe, understood, and supported.
https://thesammycenter.com/

The Utah Pyramid Model Social Emotional Program for Early Childhood Settings offers comprehensive statewide training and technical assistance to support local early care and education programs. This initiative focuses on developing sustainable systems that promote social and emotional competence in infants and young children within early intervention and early education settings.
