Before Murphy Door became a nationally recognized Utah company, founder Jeremy Barker tested one of his early ideas at the Utah State Fair. At 19 years old, he brought his Frontier Sheds booth to the Fair and walked away with $60,000 in sales, a big lesson in entrepreneurship, and the beginning of a story that would eventually lead to Murphy Door’s incredible growth.
That is one of the things we love most about the Fair. For generations, it has been more than food, rides, animals, and entertainment. It has also been a place where Utah makers, inventors, small businesses, farmers, food creators, and dreamers can put their ideas in front of real people.
Could your business be next? Commercial vendor spaces are now available for the 2026 Utah State Fair, September 10–20. Bring your product, service, or big idea to one of Utah’s biggest annual gatherings.
