This week we are excited to be managing housing for the Texas Music Educators Association in San Antonio, who are celebrating their 100th Convention with a record breaking 30,000 attendees. What an accomplishment! We are proud to have been working with TMEA for the past four years and look forward to our continued partnership in years to come. It has been a great week at the 2019 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium which is held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in beautiful Downtown San Antonio! This is our Account Manager, Joy Ware, at the Orchid on-site housing desk. We have been working with SABCS since 2015 and continue to enjoy managing this event with them.

Orchid Account Manager, Susie Brenner, and Account Coordinator, Cheryl Strong-McDonald are at the on-site housing desk for the ASHP 2019 Midyear Meeting & Exhibition in Las Vegas! We have loved building our partnership with ASHP and have been working with them since 2008!

This month, we are spotlighting another one of our Account Managers, Ashley Pruitt. Ashley came to Orchid last year after making a big move from Atlanta, Georgia, but you might not guess she is from the South because she doesn’t have a Southern accent. In exciting life news, Ashley just got married last month! We love working with Ashley because of her dedication to our customers and their events. She always goes above and beyond to assist others on the Orchid team whenever possible.

Here at Orchid we are lucky to work with some amazing employees. We know that our personalized customer service wouldn’t be possible without dedicated employees to work with our clients. This month, we would like to spotlight out newest Account Manager, Megan Crowley. Megan started with Orchid as a Customer Service Representative and quickly developed the skills to become an Account Coordinator and, this past April, officially became an Account Manager. What we love about Megan is her positive personality and her initiative in planning office potlucks so we can enjoy her amazing cooking!

Between sales calls, luncheons, and receptions, they had a chance to nurture client relationships and celebrate Cinco de Mayo! We love working with Visit San Antonio as their official housing partner!
