Hi friends! It's your Friendly Neighborhood Pepi, and it's my birthday today! To celebrate I wanted to tell you a secret, but my mom (your Friendly Neighborhood Katherine) said I couldn't...yet...

I *can* tell you that something cool will be happening on April 1 (no foolin), so stay tuned here to Facewoof and our woofsite!

For those of you who missed it, on Saturday afternoon we had our first ever Little Legs Challenge, where the winner of our Corgi Races competed against the winner of last September's Saline Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Races!

Special guest line judges were on site to help: Retired Washtenaw County Circuit Court Judge Timothy Connors and his long-time friend, Judge Cedric Simpson, a Detroit native who presides over the 14A-1 District Court in Washtenaw County. A huge thank you to them for being there in the heat to oversee this historic race!

The event was a grand finale to the Corgi Speed Championships, which happened throughout the afternoon.

Grizzly, a four-time annual winner at our festival, was challenged by Sir Re*****on of Canterbury, Dachshund winner of the Wiener Dog Races at Saline’s 2024 Oktoberfest. Grizzly took home the gold, but Sir Re*****on did his best!!

A big thank you to Sir Re*****on of Canterbury and his family for coming out!
