High Lonesome 100

High Lonesome 100 A big mountain endurance race in the classic Colorado style. With 23,500' of vertical gain and reaching an elevation of 13,150', it's a hell of a course.

The High Lonesome 100 is a high flying endurance race in the Sawatch range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The race runs in a loop through some of the most beautiful single track in the state, and takes runners on the Continental Divide and Colorado Trail, through 2 ghost towns, over 5 alpine passes, through remote basins, and over soaring ridges. It's also run and staffed by experienced and qual

ity individuals, so you'll get to be a part of a wonderful community. If you're looking for a true mountain race, created in the spirit of the classic 100 milers, then look no further. This will be our fourth year, and we hope you will join us!

The 2026 lottery is now open! The deadline to apply is 11:59pm (Denver time) on Jan 4, with the drawing on January 16th at 6-8pm. The in person drawing will take place in Salida and will be livestreamed. We'll also be organizing a front range watch party at and at the same time.

The volunteer entries into the 2026 event will be drawn tonight at 6:00pm (MDT)! You can join us in person at the Slammer in BV or virtually on our YouTube channel (Freestone Endurance).

We have 9 spots to give away to the 2026 event, and we'll draw a short waitlist so we make sure 100% of the spots get used. Entries are 50% and winners have until 12/31 to meet the qualification requirements. Ticket counts are based on the number of points that each volunteer shift is worth and were sent to volunteers last week.
