🤡What a run so far! 🎪 The performers have put on an AMAZING 4 shows but don't worry, we have the final 2 shows today!! Don't miss a chance to make memories to last a lifetime. The Salem Civic Center doors open at noon for the 1pm show and we'll do it all over again at 5pm for the grand finale. Tickets at the door.

More Than Just a Circus...

Every year children and kids of all ages look forward to the time when the circus comes to town. Memories are made watching amazing stunts, aerial acrobatics, and various animal performances. Cotton candy and light up sticks fill the civic center with lots of laughter. Kazim Klowns and Tramps enjoy putting smiles on children’s faces. It’s the Shriner’s favorite time of year as well.

There’s more to the circus than simply an event. Yes, it can very well be considered “The Greatest Show in Town,” but its importance goes beyond the family fun and wonderful memories made each year. The circus is the Roanoke Valley Kazim Shriners’ big event that helps “keep the lights on.” It supports the local organization, allowing them to do everything they do for our community throughout the year. The Shriner’s are responsible for helping their associated Shriner’s Hospital.

Community is the biggest focus of the Shriners. It is an organization that enjoys being a fun, interactive part of the Roanoke Valley. There are many different units that perform different roles for the local chapter. There is often a misconception of who the Shriners are and their mission. Though fun is always had, the Shriners’ primary goal is “soaring to new heights for the kids.” Attending the circus is more than entertainment for the whole family; it also plays a large role in supporting the Roanoke Valley Shriners. And in turn, allows them to support and maintain Shriners Hospitals.
