The Salem Summer Concert Committee is excited to announce one of our 3 new food vendors for the 2026 season. Our first vendor of the season will be Jim's Roadhouse Burgers and Beef. Here is what his concert menu looks like. The committee will be announcing our next food vendor in a couple of weeks. See you all at Waterworth Memorial Park on Sunday, June 7th.

It's that special time of year Salem! The 2026 Summer Concert Series Committee is proud to announce our concert lineup for the summer. Our first concert kicks off with the Salem Quaker City Band, directed by none other than Salem native Bob Barnett, on Sunday, June 7th at 6:00 pm. Of course, the concerts take place at Salem's beautiful Waterworth Memorial Park at the Orashan Memorial Civic Center (aka "the band shell"). Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets and sit back to enjoy some of our most talented local bands and musicians. The Summer Concert Series Committee is proud to introduce a new lineup this season with many local connections to the City of Salem. We will have new food trucks present for each concert throughout the season, with the Totally 80's Ice Cream truck present at every concert! We are excited to begin the concert season and look forward to seeing you all there.

Hey everyone. We wanted to give a little bit of an update about Delight. Stitle Construction is doing a wonderful job updating the building. The new roof has been such a wonderful improvement and we think its great!

The million dollar question is "when will you open?!!!!" To be honest, we really dont know. We are planning to be open in March of 2026 unless we run into a snag. Its gonna be good!! So you gotta hang in there! Steamed bagel sandwiches and sides coming soon. Can't wait to be the newest business in our beautiful little town!

Waterworth Memorial Park was rocking last night to the familiar sounds of Boston and American Foreigner! The Boston/Foreigner Experience took you on a journey back to younger years. What great energy and enthusiasm were brought to the Orashan Memorial Civic Center (aka the "band shell") as everyone enjoyed great live entertainment on a perfect weather evening. The Salem Summer Concert Series Committee wishes to thank everyone for their support this year. The committee will convene in a few weeks to review past performances and seek new talent for 2026. We wish to thank committee member Jan Shaeffer Cox and past member Melissa Moffett Costa for their efforts in securing this year's bands. It will be difficult to top the bands from this year, but we are searching for new talent and ask for feedback from the community as we approach 2026. Thank you for your continued support of the best free live entertainment Salem has to offer. Rock on!

Reminder: Salem Summer Concert Series concert tonight at Waterworth Memorial Park at 6pm. Boston/Foreigner Experience tonight at the Orashan Memorial Civic Center (aka the band shell). Free community concert - bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Tonight's feature is the Mahoning Valley Corvette Club. Island Delights will be serving food for purchase and Totally 80's Ice Cream will also be on hand. Come enjoy the best free live entertainment in Salem. The Summer Concert Series hopes to see the park packed tonight.

Boston Foreigner Experience will rock Waterworth Memorial Park this Sunday with the iconic music of Boston and Foreigner as the Salem Summer Concert Series wraps up the concert season. The free concert starts at 6:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold for 50/50 drawings and for prizes donated by local businesses and friends of the concert series. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets. A food vendor will be available to purchase food and soft drinks. Parking is available at the park’s Sunset Boulevard entrance, or the Superior Avenue entrance, with limited handicap accessible parking. For more information call the Salem Parks and Recreation Department at 330-271-8913.
