Join us on April 18th for and his Oregon Opry debut.
Elijah Rowan is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter originally from Comfort, Texas, just outside San Antonio, now living in Silverton. He grew up around music, taking a lot of influence from his dad, bluegrass legend along with Texas legends like Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, and Steve Earle.

His style is rooted in that Texas songwriting tradition—real stories, simple and honest. Lately, he’s been connecting with some of his modern stars like and a handful of his dad’s friends out in Nashville who’ve been a big support as he gets going. At 20 years old Elijah’s already fulfilled every county musicians dream of performing at Ryman Auditorium.

Elijah Rowan is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter originally from Comfort, Texas, just outside San Antonio, now living in Silverton. He grew up around music, taking a lot of influence from his dad, bluegrass legend , along with Texas legends like Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, and Steve Earle.

His style is rooted in that Texas songwriting tradition—real stories, simple and honest. Lately, he’s connected with modern stars like Kenny Fielder. At 20 years old Elijah has already fulfilled the dream of performing at Ryman. Please welcome him to The Oregon Opry Stage for the first time.

If you’ve been a part of the local scene for a while I’m sure you’ve heard of Come see them at the next Oregon Opry on April 18th at
The Shinkle Band is a country music band from Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Since 2005, they have been entertaining crowds from the local fairs, casinos, and festivals, or opening for the likes of Reba McIntire, Neal McCoy, and Joe Diffy, just to name a few. Orignal members include brothers: Aaron, Byron, and Roger Shinkle. Along with some of Oregon’s finest guitar players in Lee Wanner and Clay King. The band is rounded out by bassist Kevin Hamler-Dupras and Bill Stapleton on keys.
The Shinkle Band recorded their well received self tiled album in Nashville’s renowned Dogear Studios with master guitarist and producer, Jamie Laritz in 2010. More recently, single releases such as “Gone With the Wind,” “Light Inside,” “Taxman,” and “Borrwed Time.”
