The dust has finally settled from our very first Blood Moon Music Fest. We are all feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude for everyone who came together to make our dream event happen. First and foremost, thank you to Kathken Vineyards. Kathy and Ken offered up their beautiful vineyard to host our festival. The setting was surreal and otherworldly, and perfect for our first Blood Moon Fest.
Atomic Disc was our biggest sponsor, helping tremendously with printing everything from the banner to the handbills. Also, Jason and Silver, your input, ideas, and advice were invaluable to us. Thank you so much.
Huge thanks to All That Sound for providing us with the PA systems for the day, and Chris Pelka for doing an incredible job running sound all day, not to mention the hours of setup and tear-down. We appreciate you so much.
The performers. We were privileged to have such an incredible lineup of Oregon artists. Salem was well represented, and we had other acts from throughout the state. Thank you 1939 ensemble, Clawfoot Slumber, Acting Captain, Erin Westfall, THMPR, symmetry/symmetry, Rebecca McDade, DTW - Despite The Whiteness, Miranda Vettrus Band, and Phillip DeRobertis, aka DJ 42. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing lineup of music!
There are so many more people to thank. Justin Schepige, Emma Buktenica, Lensbaby, Pras-Point Productions, Vagabond Brewing, Silver Touch, ZuhG Life Surf Shop, Wright Security Enterprises, LLC., Rachel Stewart, Aaron Clark, Sarah Clark, Sam Ross, Susan Way, VIM Natural Supplements and Bodycare. We know there are more.
To everyone who came to our first Blood Moon Music Festival, YOU are the reason it was a success! We have every intention of doing it again, and doing it better. Thank you.
Love,
Josh, Jarred, Ronan, Joshua, and Miranda
