As many of you know, I've been giving 50% of all my Etsy sales to other printers, artists, musicians, and cultural producers in need. I have 7 poster tubes left, so the next 7 sales will get split 50/50 as well. So much has changed in our world in the short time since our print fair on March 8th. We're thinking of our fellow community of printers, artists, makers, and small businesses who will be impacted by this new normal we're all learning to adjust to. It was truly a dream come true to have printmaker, Jim Sherraden, from Nashville, TN at this year's St. Printersburg! 😍☀️ THANK YOU JIM! Jim's name was synonymous with Hatch Show Print in Nashville for over 34 years, so he's a legend in the letterpress & print world. He even led a woodcut workshop with fellow printmakers at Print St. Pete on Saturday, and the hexagon blocks were printed on the steamroller during the fest! We hope you got a chance to say hello to Jim & to see his beautiful printwork, including his paper quilts which are printed from woodcuts, cut up and rearranged in quilt-like patterns, and then hand-watercolored.
