Happy Global Running Day, St. Pete! With an average of 361 sunshine days, give or take a day from last year😅, we’re the perfect city for a spectacular runcation. When you run the Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital St. Pete Pier Run on July 4 or St. Pete Run Fest on the weekend of Nov 13-15, you’ll be running along some pretty interesting facts:

● Known as the “Sunshine City”, St. Pete had an infamous 768-day sunshine streak that started in 1967
● The Dalí Museum houses the largest collection of Salvador Dalí’s works outside of Europe
● The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, known for it’s signature pink facade, was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on September 11, 1978
● The 26-acre St Pete Pier won the prestigious Urban Land Institute (ULI) Global Awards for Excellence in 2022
● The Central Arts District on Central Avenue is the birthplace of the city’s modern art movement
