If these walls could talk, they would tell the story of Chef Chad Johnson.
Stories of early mornings and late nights in the kitchen. Of uncompromising standards upheld with quiet determination. Of young cooks becoming chefs because someone believed in them enough to expect more.
Across thousands of services, Chad never lost the passion that first brought him to the Bern's family. He found joy in the details, believed the smallest things mattered, and never stopped talking about food with the same curiosity that defined him from day one.
Guests knew Chad through unforgettable meals. We knew him as the steady presence behind them.
To Ashley, Addyson, Harper, and the entire Johnson family, thank you for sharing Chad with all of us. We are better because we had the privilege of learning from him, cooking beside him, and calling him our friend.
